Ian has extensive board level experience within Sagacity’s core sectors including Director of Customer Facing Strategy for Centrica overseeing North America, UK and Ireland. Prior to this, Ian was the Managing Director of British Gas for both the Residential and Business Sectors. Before embarking on his long and successful career in Utilities, Ian held various roles within NatWest and Royal Bank of Scotland.
In addition to Ian’s Advisory role for Sagacity he has an extensive executive portfolio which includes chairing the U.K. Health Security Agency and two private owned energy transition companies, as well as various other advisory roles in the public and private sector. Ian's professional background is primarily in financial services, energy, technology and utilities.
Jose is a founder and Managing Partner of Queen’s Park Equity. He has over 20 years of experience in the private equity and financial services industry. He has a particular focus on pursuing buy & build strategies to grow businesses and has significant experience in backing companies in the tech and education sectors. He also sits on the board of Learndirect and DCSL GuideSmiths as a non-executive director on behalf of QPE. Jose holds an MBA from London Business School and a BSc in Economics from ITESM.
Kajen has 13 years of mid-market private equity experience, principally working closely with ambitious owner managers of businesses to facilitate the acceleration of profitable growth. He is a founding member of QPE and focusses primarily on investing in and supporting technology services businesses. Kajen currently sits on the board as a NED of DCSL GuideSmiths, a high growth digital transformation and outsourced software development partner. Prior to private equity, Kajen was a corporate finance adviser at EY, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant and Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.
Martin is an experienced infrastructure executive with a successful track record of holding Non-Executive Director positions across a range of organisations. He has over 35 years’ experience in the utilities industry including a span of seven years as CEO of Thames Water, the UK’s largest water and wastewater company serving 15 million customers. Prior to Thames Water, Martin was an Executive Director with Macquarie Infrastructure Funds responsible for a portfolio of investments across Europe.
