Sagacity is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Stibbs, Chairman and Martin Baggs, Non-Executive Director.
Chris Stibbs brings over 25 years of experience as an executive across the tech enabled business services and data led media industries, having held several senior positions in various organisations. He was the CEO of The Economist Group for nearly half of a successful 14 year career at the company. Alongside his previous senior positions at Pearson and Incisive Media as well as Chair roles in PE backed businesses, these roles have seen Chris acquire extensive experience in growing companies, developing go to market strategies and increasing brand awareness that will be extremely valuable to Sagacity moving forward.
Martin Baggs is an experienced executive with a successful track record of leading transformational change in the UK and overseas. He joins Sagacity with several years’ experience at Thames Water, the UK’s largest water company, where he served as CEO for seven years as well as holding various advisory roles. Martin brings a wealth of experience in addressing the industry challenges and his time in both the water and energy sectors will be invaluable to Sagacity.
Chris and Martin join our team alongside existing advisors Ian Peters, who was formerly the Managing Director of British Gas and has held senior roles at Centrica, NatWest and Royal Bank of Scotland; and Robin Young, who’s career includes Chief Operating Officer roles at Mitchells and Butlers and the nationalised Bradford & Bingley/Northern Rocks banks. This combination of passionate and experienced professionals means Sagacity can rely on years of senior expertise and in-depth knowledge of our core markets including Energy, Water, Telecoms and Financial Services.
