Some of our successes are listed below: Target Operating Model Design and Implementation Completed the Target Operating Model Design for the merger of 2 major UK financial institutions including engaging the Board of Directors and their direct reports to carry out an assessment of the ‘as is’ organisation and obtaining formal support and approval of the Target Operating Model. Led the global restructuring programme for a major global investor in order to offer shared service capabilities to their group of companies across the UK, USA and Asia Pacific. Managed the successful re-organisation of the Customer Finance Department of a major utilities provider including re-assignment of ownership of roles and responsibilities, interim management and recruitment. Led the scoping and definition phase of the Change Management and Training Workstream to support the implementation of the new Billing and CRM system, for a major telecommunications broker, affecting over 500 users. The assignment included mobilising and managing the project team to support the Change Management and Training activities and ensuring the new system was embedded in the organisation. Managed the re-organisation of the IT Department of a major telecommunications provider including the development of a long term IT strategy, department re-structuring, redundancy, recruitment and process re-engineering. Led the programme to outsource the technical support of the wholesale billing system for a major telecommunications provider. This included setting up the onsite and offshore teams, knowledge transfer, documentation, detailed processes and the implementation of on-going monitoring including KPIs. Set up the Customer Finance and Collections Teams for a major telecommunication provider following a change to their business model. Value Based Management Developed and implemented Value Based Management for a major utilities provider including a multi dimensional value reporting tool and automated reporting. This solution allowed the company to measure high value customers and identify low value customers to adopt new strategies for managing the different customer segments. Value Based Management capabilities and tools also developed for a major telecommunications provider in the UK. This included delivering a subscriber level customer value model and scoping the changes required in the operating model to embrace value based management in all key commercial decisions. Revenue Assurance Managed a Revenue Assurance Proof of Concept project which has led to the development of Revenue Assurance capabilities within a major utilities provider. This included defining the Revenue Assurance strategy, the development of an end-to -end Controls Framework and a series of detailed analytical deep dives to highlight areas of revenue leakage. Credit Strategy Development & Implementation Developed and implemented an end to end Credit Strategy for the Corporate, SME and Residential clients of a major utilities provider. The strategy included the implementation of automated credit checking solutions and associated organisation re-design across all sales channels and routes to market. Developed and implemented an end to end Credit Strategy for a major utility’s sustainable energy solution including the implementation of automated credit checking, process development, organisation re-design and training. Re-developed and implemented the Credit Policy for a major telecommunication supplier including systems improvements, process and procedure development, resourcing and training. Investment Management & Governance Process re-engineering, training and implementation of a financial governance framework for a major telecommunications provider which established a framework for all investment decisions including capital expenditure, cost centre management and resource planning. Successfully implemented the Governance Programme for a major utilities provider including Board Roles and Responsibilities and the Delegated Limits of Authority Framework. Increased the efficiency of the Procure-to-Pay process for a major utility through implementing spend analysis, key process and system controls and setting up sourcing teams. This led to a reduction in transaction costs and greater cross-functional involvement in external 3rd party contracts. The spend analysis led to a greater understanding of the types of purchasing within the Group enabling greater discounts to be negotiated with suppliers. Management Information & Data Warehousing Implemented a data warehousing solution for a UK telecommunications provider. Developed Gross margin forecasting models covering all mass market segments for a major utility at customer level. Implemented and rolled out debt collections reporting and analysis tool to in-house debt collection team leaders and managers for a UK telecommunications provider enabling the prioritisation of scarce resources within the team to optimise debt collection. Project Planning, Solution Design & Best Practice Provided project planning, management and governance expertise for the creation of a Formula 1 Racing Team. Successfully completed a project scoping and planning exercise for a large scale change initiative to offer a shared service model for high value customers for a major utilities provider. Implemented the Project Governance and Delivery Process for a major telecommunications provider.
